Most played Christmas Chart 2014

It's the time of year when PPL releases its annual most played Christmas chart. The chart is compiled from PPL's exclusive data which includes TV, radio and some online usage as well as songs played in bars, shops, restaurants, gyms, offices and other public places that use recorded music.

  • For 85% of people Christmas without Christmas music wouldn’t be as good.
  • 95% of consumers said they prefer Christmas shopping with in store music.
  • 75% of respondents said that hearing Christmas songs they like when shopping gets them in a festive spirit, and nearly 25% reckon they’re more generous buying presents if Christmas music they like is being played.
