Student Radio Association’s National Student Radio Conference (SRACon) 2018

PPL was delighted to be a part of the trade fair at the 2018 National Student Radio Conference hosted by the Student Radio Association on 4 April.

We hosted a stand at the trade fair on the first day of SRACon alongside PRS for Music, engaging with university radio enthusiasts. Events like SRACon are a chance for us to empower the next generation of radio presenters and those who will work off-air with knowledge about broadcast licensing requirements for recorded music, and provide an opportunity to answer any questions they may have about our organisation.

The SRA represents the student radio sector in the UK. Our presence at their events, including the Student Radio Awards in November each year, is integral to supporting the future talent of radio in the UK. The students we meet at these events are associated with university radio services, which are licensed under PPL’s Student Radio Licence and/or a PPL Webcaster Licence.
